Data Deletion Policy
We care about your data — even after you leave (though we hope you’ll stay!). When you cancel your ProdPad account, you can choose how your data is handled. Please specify at the time of cancellation – If no preference is specified, your account will default to Passive Delete.
Active Delete
If you are absolutely certain you do not want ProdPad to retain any of the information you entered as a customer or trial user specify Active Delete. This may be the right choice if your company has strict security requirements or if you’re confident it’s time to permanently “let it go.”
As promised: your data is yours. If you want it removed permanently, we will fully delete it.
If you want to active delete your account you need to email us at support@prodpad.com.
Passive Delete
This is for you if you’re not particularly concerned about your data being stored and you don’t expect to need it again (for example, if you’ve already exported everything via our API). This is also a good fit if you think you might return soon — either as a new customer or because you miss us!
Please note: with Passive Delete, ProdPad may delete your data at any time, at our discretion or inline with our Data Retention Schedule. If you want guaranteed long-term retention, consider the Parking option below.
Parking
If you’d like to “pause” your account without losing any data, Parking is for you. By choosing the Parking Plan — a small monthly fee (15% of your plan cost at the time of cancellation) — we’ll securely store your data indefinitely. That way, when you’re ready to return, everything will be exactly where you left it.
