Meet the Team: Liz Love, Chief Commercial Officer
In this instalment of meet the team we’d like to introduce you to Liz Love, she’s the Director of Sales and Professional Services here at ProdPad. Liz is a unique member of the team because she’s always been close to ProdPad and its many iterations. She started out as a customer and even remembers ProdPad BB (before beta)!
You might know Liz from meeting her at events, talking to her on intercom or getting great advice in the slack community. Without further ado let’s find out a bit more about the lovely Liz.
Explain what you do:
I work with product managers to understand how ProdPad can help them be even more awesome. I show them around the product, work out how they can use it in their own environment and generally do whatever needs to be done to help them get up and running, including training when required.
For our enterprise clients, I work with procurement and security teams to ensure they can implement ProdPad in a way that fits in with their existing processes and IT stack.
One of the best parts of my job is learning about how product managers do their job – so although I’m not a product manager any more, I’m always interested in learning about what keeps them up at night, so we can make ProdPad even better!
What did you do before ProdPad?
Before ProdPad, I’d been a Product Manager for about 10 years. The last 2 or 3 of those years, I was a ProdPad user, so I got to know it and love it first hand.
What makes you excited to work at ProdPad?
The team and the culture that we have here. Every time we get together to work on a project, I am inspired by how talented they are. I trust the people around me, and like to think they have trust in me too – it makes for a great working life.
Fav productivity app?
I spend most of my time in Pipedrive. My actual favourite app is Slack, but as I started on this amazing journey by being a ProdPad user, it will always have a special place in my heart 😀
Fav time-wasting app?
I use the Ravit app, which gives me access to Ravelry.com, a website for knitters/crocheters. I also spend way too much time on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
Most famous person you’ve ever met?
Probably Adam Henson, of Countryfile fame in the UK. I live near to his farm park, and visited for the day. When he wandered through, I had to go and say hi (plus a selfie, of course), as he has cult status in our family!
Fav thing about working remotely?
Flexibility and being able to eat leftovers for lunch.
Puppies or kittens?
Kittens. No, puppies. Nope, definitely kittens.
Any hobbies?
Knitting, quilting and crochet. And knitting. Lots and lots of knitting.
Fun fact about you?
I have a famous dog! My lovely springer spaniel Sparky does occasional TV and film work, with his recent work including a DFS advert, “A Little Chaos” with Kate Winslet & Alan Rickman and “Lewis” with Kevin Whately. His most interesting job was being killed off in a rather gruesome manner as part of the ITV series Marcella – something which prompted a rush of tweets worrying about him! Needless to say, I tweeted a quick pic of him alive and well, to reassure the people who thought ITV had actually harmed a dog…
