FAQs
- How much commission will I earn from the ProdPad affiliate program?
You will earn 20% commission on all payments made within the first 12 months by anyone you refer through your unique affiliate link. As long as the referred visitor converts to a paid ProdPad customer within 60 days of their original link click, you will get a 20% cut of all the payments they make to us over their first 12 months as a ProdPad customer.
- What qualifies as a successful conversion?
A successful conversion is when a visitor you refer to our website goes on to purchase ProdPad (within 60 days of their original visit). They can make their payment either by credit card or through an invoice – either way, it will count as a conversion and you will be awarded 20% of that payment (and any other payments the customer makes during their first 12 months).
- What conversions will not qualify?
A conversion will not qualify for a commission payment if the contact was already a ProdPad customer, or has formerly been a ProdPad customer. Neither will the conversion qualify if it is a self-referral by you or your company. Finally, conversions won’t qualify if the last touch point of the purchaser was another paid marketing channel.
- How long is the attribution window?
The ProdPad affiliate program has a generous cookie duration of 60 days. That means, we’re allowing 60 days from the time someone clicks from your link to our website for that person to convert to a paying customer and you to get your 20% commission.
- What is the Payout Schedule?
Payments are made to affiliates once a month. The commission owed is locked on the last working day of each month, and that payment is made up to 30 days after the lock date.
- How can I create and track my affiliate link?
If you are accepted onto the ProdPad affiliate program you will have access to an affiliate dashboard powered by Trackdesk. Here you will be able to create links and see your click stats and conversion reports.
- How can I promote my affiliate link?
Once you receive your personalized affiliate link, we suggest you promote it on your blog, social profile, website, newsletters, videos, podcasts and wherever else you help people find tools and advice to work better! The more places you promote your link, the better!
Remember, when you share your ProdPad link, your message must make it clear that you have a financially compensated relationship with us. We need all promotions to be FTC compliant.
- What happens if a customer I referred upgrades or expands their package?
If that upgrade or expansion happens within the customer’s first 12 months, you will receive 20% of that expansion payment! Any payments that are made to us within the referred customer’s first 12 months will count towards your commission payments – whether that’s the first initial order, some extra seats or a new module – you’ll get 20% of everything they pay to ProdPad. Providing those payments go through successfully of course.
- What happens if a customer I refer has a payment refunded?
If we have to refund a customer payment for whatever reason, you will not receive commission on that payment. If the initial payment and subsequent refund happen within the same month the conversion will be effectively removed from your earning total for that period. But, if we have paid commission in one month on a payment that is then refunded in the following month, that commission amount will be deducted from the following month’s payout.
